Here are a few things to consider before making your decision:

How do I choose the best plan for me and my family?

Based on the feedback you get during the initial, complimentary session with your Coach, you’ll be able to make the best decision about which plan you and your family should consider.

* What is the difference between the On Demand, Flexible, and Consistent plans?

Depending on the type of time commitment you’re looking for, our subscription plans provide different levels of flexibility in terms of both the number of sessions you need, ability to move or cancel your sessions and pricing.

Consistent Plan: Weekly sessions are scheduled at a consistent time throughout the month, i.e. Client and Coach meet every Thursday at 5pm. Client is allowed to reschedule or cancel one session per month with a 24hr notice. Billing is recurring.

How many sessions can I have within each package?

This depends on your needs and the Coach’s or Tutor’s availability. The scheduling is done through complete cooperation between the Client and the Coach or Tutor, so the total number of sessions can vary for each person (e.g.: 30 min / 1 hour / 1.5 hours of Coaching a week / every other week + 30 min / 1 hour / 1.5 hours of Tutoring a week).

Can I choose to have Tutoring without the Coaching services?

As the Academic Coach plays a lead role in the Nobel Team, all packages must include Coaching services, at the very least. This means that you can only choose Tutoring after you’ve engaged in our Coaching services. Academic Coach helps families:

Help people develop strategies that capitalize on their talents and compensate for their difficulties.
Help people concentrate, through individualized assistance and support, on where they are now, where they want to be, and how they can get there.
Support individuals by encouraging them to develop beneficial habits for a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Promote reflection and self-discovery by asking searching, open-ended questions that direct individuals towards discovering their strengths and motivations.

** Are there any additional fees for Tutoring subjects?

The Tutoring fees listed above are base prices for elementary, middle and high school subjects. An additional $5/hour will be charged for AP-level subjects for high-school students and +$10/hour for college-level instruction for all subjects except Math.

An additional $10/hour will be charged for Algebra and Precalculus tutoring, +$20/hour for AP-level Statistics and Calculus, and +$30/hour for Multivariable Calculus and ACT/SAT Test Preparation.

How are the hourly sessions structured?

It’s totally up to you. One hour of Coaching can be scheduled as one 50-minute online session or two 25-minute online sessions. On the other hand, one hour of Tutoring consists of 50 minutes of online A/V time.

The balance of the hour is to account for offline time for the Coach and the Tutor to prepare for and follow-up on the session.

What happens if I don’t pay on time?

In the case of Flexible and Consistent plans, if an invoice is not paid at least 24 hours before the session, it will be postponed until the payment has been made.

In the case of On Demand plans, if an invoice is not paid immediately, it will have to be paid at least 3 days before the first session is scheduled.

What happens if I cancel my current plan before it ends?

Coach and Tutor and Client can cancel their sessions at any time. Depending on the canceling party and the timing of the cancellation, the following rules apply:

The session was canceled by the Coach or Tutor:

Regardless if the session canceled more or less than 24 hours – the Coach or Tutor is not paid for the session, the client account is credited for the prorated cost of the session

The session was canceled by the Client:

Less than 24 hours in advance, the session is paid to the Contractor and the client is not credited for the session
More than 24 hours in advance, the session is available to be rescheduled within the package time period; if not rescheduled and remains canceled for the duration of the package, the client account is credited for the prorated cost of the session
